LAX pickup: How to Hack the New Ride-Hailing Changes Causing Uber, Lyft and Taxi Delays
Wednesday, November 6, 2019 (LA Times) – The always chaotic LAX has now just added a new wrinkle to the melee. A new policy that has taken hold at the highly-trafficked and iconic airport was intended to ease traffic at terminals, but wound up causing more confusion. Now those flying into LAX that rely on rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, must take a shuttle to a holding area where wait times can stretch for hours. As of right now, there is no sign that this will change, which is discouraging for passengers simply trying to get to their destination after a long flight. Alternatives that can be considered are the FlyAway or the Metro.
